Devicie Co-founder and CTO awarded Microsoft MVP

We are delighted to reveal that our co-founder and CTO, Jose Schenardie, has been awarded the title of Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP), recognising his contributions to the tech community and expertise in Microsoft technologies.

Jose has decades of experience in infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments in addition to extensive security and endpoint management expertise. His journey with the MVP program began many years ago in Brazil when he searched for assistance with SCCM 2007. On the TechNet forums, he found invaluable support from fellow MVPs who inspired him to share his knowledge and expertise with others.

Throughout his career, Jose has developed a deep technical knowledge and a unique perspective on problem-solving. He worked his way up the ranks from support to IT and security consulting and, more recently, as co-founder and CTO of Devicie, the leading device management automation SaaS. Over his 20-year career, his commitment to learning and sharing his expertise has been unwavering, making him an asset to the Australian tech community. His dedication and work have not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by his nomination for MVP.

Jose’s extensive experience with Microsoft coupled with his willingness to help the tech community saw him identify that many IT teams lack the experience or resources to fully leverage Microsoft offerings.

“I believe in the ability Microsoft products to create positive change. That’s why I co-founded Devicie, to provide an automation layer to maximise the full potential of Microsoft Intune and unlock compliance, security and productivity benefits,” he says.

Devicie accelerates Intune implementation, offering a best practice, automatically updated and optimised Intune instance that ensures controls are applied, apps updated, operating systems patched, eliminating repetitive day-to-day tasks. Additionally, it proactively remediates each customer’s unique configuration. As result, many customers achieve 100% removal of local administrator privileges and are better positioned to meet their compliance requirements. This underscores the immense power of Intune when fully utilised with the automation of a platform like Devicie.

“Being recognised as an MVP is a huge milestone. I’m ecstatic. It rewards years of work and expertise and my commitment to empowering others in the Australian tech community to learn and collaborate. I hope to serve as mentor for other Microsoft tech enthusiasts and inspire them to make meaningful contributions to the field,” explains Schenardie.

Jose’s involvement in bringing Workplace Ninja to life in Australia allows him to share knowledge and nurture support and collaboration within the tech community. You can hear Jose speak alongside other MVPs and Microsoft experts at Australian Workplace Ninja events coming soon.
